Travelling in India and Nepal can be tough. We try to make the condition as good as possible. BUT: Spoiled water, food poisoning, mouldy rooms, bad roads, extreme weather, exotic diseases and other dangerous situations are possible. Especially if you have back problems or joint problems, the long and rough bus rides can be challenging.

Please self-assess if you are ready for this journey.
And consult your doctor, in case of doubt.

In case of sickness or accidents during the trip, your travel health insurance helps you to cover potential costs for hospitals, extra travel costs, and potential transportation back home.

On the DW-Connect Page and in the travel informations, we recommend some travel cancellation insurance. Please also note that a good travel cancellation insurance should cover cancellations or interruptions due to pandemics or similar.

We are staying in dormitories with 6 to 8 friends and tripple/ quadruple rooms. Some hotels may have double rooms left, so that you can individually upgrade to a double or single room on your own cost once the entire group has checked in completely.

Imagine your travel buddy does not get a place on the pilgrimage, but you are booked. In this case you can cancel the booking without any costs within 3 days (after the group is fully booked).

in the past years we have all witnessed how sudden and unexpected developments can turn around and travel restrictions could affect even our pilgrimage. In such a case, Diamond Way Travel gGmbH would have to refund you entirely. As we have to make pre-payments to hotels and airlines, this could result in insolvency for this Diamond Way organisation. In this unlikely case, we will, of course, do our best to get as much money back from our partners in Asia. However, some pre-payments might be lost, and it could save Diamond Way Travel gGmbH if you would donate a share of your advanced payment in this scenario.

What happens next:

1.) After completing this form, you receive an automated email with the details of your booking request.

2.) In a couple of days, you will get a confirmation from Diamond Way Travel, including payment details for the down payments. In case all spots are taken, you will get a negative reply, but we will invite you to join the waiting list.

3.) After having received the booking confirmation, please transfer the down payment (20% of the total price) or the total sum as soon as possible so that Diamond Way Travel can make the necessary advanced payments.
